Changes to the quarantine leave policy for students with mild or asymptomatic COVID-19 cases, effective August 15, 2023.
Our quarantine leave policy has been updated to comply with the latest Ministry of Education guidelines, including letters No. 1120043092 and No. 1122202409, and the revised “Guidelines for Colleges and Universities on COVID-19 Prevention and Control.”

New Leave Option: Mental Health Leave
- Effective March 29, 2023, our school has revised its student leave policy to include "Mental Health Leave." This new leave option allows students experiencing emotional or mental distress to take time off without requiring any medical documentation. Students may apply for up to five days of mental health leave per semester.
- Why Mental Health Leave? Our goal is to support students in managing their emotional and mental well-being. By providing a mental health leave option, we hope to: Raise awareness: Help students recognize the signs of emotional distress and understand the importance of seeking support. Reduce stigma: Create a more supportive environment where students feel comfortable seeking help without fear of judgment. Connect students with resources: Introduce students to our counseling services and other support systems available on campus. What can you do? Self-care: Practice self-care activities such as exercise, reading, writing, or spending time in nature. Seek support: Talk to a friend, family member, or counselor about how you're feeling. Utilize campus resources: Take advantage of our counseling services, workshops, and other mental health resources. Remember, taking care of your mental health is just as important as taking care of your physical health.
