Psychological outpatient subsidy for economically disadvantaged students

Eligibility
Students enrolled in our school must meet one of the following conditions and be diagnosed by professionals as having physical and mental symptoms that affect their learning, school or social adaptation and require mental health or treatment services.
(1) Students who are from low-income households, lower-middle-income households, children or grandchildren of families in special circumstances, students with disabilities and children of persons with disabilities, and students of indigenous nationalities.
(2) Students who are eligible for the Ministry of Education’s “College and University Disadvantaged Students Aid Program” during the current semester or the next semester.
(3) Other persons who are specially identified as having financial difficulties by the Student Affairs Office.
(4) Those who are confirmed to be involved in gender or bullying cases will not be included in the subsidy recipients.

Application Deadline
Students should apply within 6 months of the date of outpatient treatment. Application deadline: for graduates, it is the last month of the semester; for students taking a leave of absence, it is the month of the effective date.

Subsidy scope and amount
Subsidies are limited to general outpatient clinics and the student public welfare counseling program of the school’s community counseling center. Self-paid psychological counseling, emergency treatment and administrative documents are not included. Actual payment is paid, with a maximum subsidy of NT$1,000 per month and a maximum total subsidy of NT$10,000 per year.

Documents to be submitted
(i) Application form.
(ii) Original or photocopy of medical receipt (photocopy must be stamped by the medical institution).
(iii) Diagnosis certificate.
(iv) Photocopy of the cover of the student’s bank or post office passbook.
(v) Documents proving financial disadvantage:
1.Domestic students should submit government-issued certificates, such as a list of various income information of their parents and the student themselves for comprehensive income tax in the most recent year, and a national property tax household property inquiry list.
2.Foreign students should submit financial certificates issued by their local government and verified by overseas offices, or other financial documents sufficient to prove their annual income, interest income and total amount of real estate.
