Objective
Under the mentorship of Dr. Mei-Chun Lin, Vice President for Student Affairs, students Chang-Yin Chan, Ho-Tsung Chiu, and Chieh-Kai Wang from the LOHAS Executive Master of Business Administration (LOHAS-EMBA) program have jointly launched this financial hardship grant. One of the initiators, Chang-Yin Chan, organized a charity fundraising event by walking around Taiwan on foot, pledging to donate NT$100 for every kilometer walked. The purpose is to raise public awareness about the needs of underprivileged students and to provide assistance to students in urgent financial difficulties, enabling them to focus on their studies without financial distress.

Application eligibility
Currently enrolled NTNU students encountering unexpected and urgent financial difficulties may apply.
Application Process
Eligible applicants must submit an application form along with relevant supporting documents. They are also required to obtain recommendations from their advisers and department or graduate institute head before submitting the application to the Student Services Division, Office of Student Affairs.
The number of grant recipients and the amount
The number of grant recipients and the amount awarded for each semester are determined by the review committee, and applicants are notified of the results individually.
