Road Traffic Fatalities and Injuries Involving Students at Colleges and Universities(January–November, Year 114)
1. Overall situation (January–November, Year 114)

   Compared with the same period in Year 113, the overall situation of road traffic fatalities and injuries involving college and university students is summarized as follows:
(1) A total of 66 fatal traffic accidents involving college and university students were recorded, representing a decrease of20 cases from 86 cases during the same period in Year 113, a 23% reduction.
(2) A total of 2,468 traffic injury cases were recorded, a decrease of 245 cases from2,713 cases during the same period in Year 113, representing a 9% reduction.
   (3) Motorcycle-related fatal accidents totaled 64 cases, a decrease of 22 cases from 86 cases in the same period of Year 113, a 26% reduction.
2. Traffic fatalities in November, Year 114
   According to statistics, 4 fatal traffic accidents occurred in November of Year 114. Among these, collisions with other vehicles accounted for the highest number, with 2 cases. Most accidents occurred during holidays and in the evening hours, with 3 cases during holidays and 2 cases occurring at night (6:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m.).
3. Safety reminders
Students are reminded to travel in groups when going on outings. When passing through road sections or intersections, please slow down, remain alert to oncoming traffic, and avoid collisions with other road users. When riding motorcycles, in order to enhance road safety, please be sure to:
(1) Wear a certified safety helmet at all times;
  (2) Pay close attention to the traffic conditions ahead;
  (3) Do not ride without a valid license;
  (4) Comply with posted speed limits
